Imperial Prince Fushimi-no-miya Sadamochi (伏見宮貞行親王)

Imperial Prince Fushimi-no-miya Sadamochi (April 9, 1760 - July 20, 1772) was a member of the Imperial family who lived in the Edo period. He was the 17th head of the Fushimi-no-miya family. He was the second son of Emperor Momozono. His mother was Tomiko ICHIJO, a daughter of Kaneka ICHIJO. His childhood name was Ninomiya.

In July 1760, he inherited the Fushimi-no-miya family after the death of Imperial Prince Fushimi-no-miya Kunitada. In 1763, he received the title of Imperial Prince. He was named Sadamochi. On July 17, 1772 he received the title of Nihon (the second court rank for Imperial Princes); however, he passed away on 20 of the same month. He was 13 years old. His homyo (a posthumous Buddhist name) was Shinjomyoin.
